On February 12, 2025, TeachSTEAM’s founder, Binal Kamdar, was invited to speak at the Empowering Women in STEM event, hosted by CII-IWN in association with Marwadi University. The event focused on early STEM education and the diverse perspectives of diversity, inclusivity, equity (DIE) in workspaces, highlighting the need for broader representation and equitable opportunities in STEM fields.
The presentation included discussions on the significance of early STEM exposure in fostering inclusivity, support for students with learning disabilities, LEGO-based learning across different age groups, global professional training, and TeachSTEAM’s high school and college internship programs. These insights emphasized the importance of accessible learning environments and equitable professional opportunities, ensuring that individuals from all backgrounds can thrive in STEM careers.
Bringing together educators, industry leaders, and change-makers, the event created a platform for exchanging ideas on breaking barriers in STEM education and professional spaces. The discussions reinforced TeachSTEAM’s mission to champion hands-on learning, inclusivity, and equity, paving the way for a more diverse and innovative future in STEM.
